Rebel XL

DIANE MURRAY

Diane grew up playing sports and has always been very active. She loves trying new group fitness classes and is always up for a challenging workout! Not only does she enjoy the physical benefits of group fitness classes, but she also loves the community aspect of it. After an injury in 2012 she discovered mat Pilates and was hooked. Soon she was taking mega former and reformer pilates classes and loved how strong she felt. She Is fully trained in the REBELxl program and all formats. She is also Lagree certified. As an instructor her goal is to challenge you in every class and make you feel strong! Diane is originally from Ridgewood and returned to Bergen County after graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 2003. She has two daughters and one cavapoo pup (who she is obsessed with). She enjoys spending time with family & friends, working out, traveling and never says no to a spicy margarita!

DANIELLE SCIRICA

Danielle has been passionate about physical fitness for most of her life. In 2016, she began teaching Spin classes. After loving the impact of teaching group fitness, she became AFAA Group Fitness certified and began teaching classes. After 2020, she wanted a change in her workouts. That’s when she found reformer Pilates and immediately became addicted to how it challenged her mind and body in ways they haven’t been challenged before. It inspired her to get certified. Danielle is AFAA Group X certified, Peak Pilates contemporary certified, fully comprehensively trained in the REBELxL program and formats, and has her Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching certification. Working as full-time high school Health & Physical Education teacher, teaching fitness classes are a perfect compliment to add some fun to her schedule. Danielle loves to help people feel their best self!

CATE CARDEW

As an athlete, playing soccer and softball was Cates' passion from a young age, shaping both her physical abilities and mindset. In 2020, in Ridgewood, NJ, she was introduced to the transformative power of Pilates. Pilates became more than just a workout; it became a vital part of her rehabilitation journey from athletic injuries, after going through two knee surgeries, while strengthening other muscles and parts of the body in the process. Now as a student at Montclair State University studying education, she is continuing her pursuit of fitness, going deeper into various disciplines. Through Pilates, she discovered not only improved flexibility and alignment, but also a profound sense of balance and well-being. Cate is AFAA Group Fitness Instructor certified, Peak Pilates FitCore Mat and Reformer certified, and fully fully comprehensively trained in the REBELxL program and formats.

MIKALYNN BERGER

With a passion for fitness that has been a lifelong journey, Mikey brings the energy and enthusiasm to every Pilates class she teaches. Certified in both group fitness and CPR, she is also a proud holder of the RBX Pilates certification. Mikey's athletic background and years of experience in various sports and workouts fuels her dedication to help others move better, feel stronger, and achieve their fitness goals. Mikey believes in making every session fun, dynamic, and accessible, all while pushing you to your limits in a safe and supportive environment. Move, sweat, and have fun with Mikey!

JILL BOVINO

Meet Jill, the Pilates powerhouse with a rebel twist! Fully compressively trained in the Rebel XL program and all formats. She's not your average Pilates instructor. With a passion for movement and a knack for breaking the rules (in the best way possible), Jill brings a whole new vibe to the studio. Jill’s journey into Pilates began as a quest for strength and flexibility, but quickly evolved into a love affair with the rebellious side of fitness. Her classes are a fusion of traditional Pilates principles and cutting-edge techniques, guaranteed to leave you feeling empowered, energized, and ready to take on the world. When she's not leading a class, you can find Jill experimenting with new variations, perfecting her own practice, or spending time at the Beach with her family. With her infectious energy and endless creativity, she's on a mission to revolutionize the way you think about exercise—one rebel move at a time!

JILL PERINI

Jill's passion for staying active and healthy runs deep! She grew up playing lacrosse, running cross country and in college she helped guide multiple friends on their weight lifting journeys. She has a nutrition and wellness certification from Cornell, a Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Club Pilates, a Bodybell Method certification and is fully compressively trained in the Rebel XL program and all formats. Jill has always been drawn to finding new ways to keep the body and mind active and once Jill discovered Pilates it was love at first session. Jill found her obsession at REBELxL where Pilates meets strength training and delivers serious results. When Jill isn’t helping others reach their fitness goals, you’ll find her in the kitchen, out with friends or on an outdoor adventure. Get ready to sweat, smile, and discover your best self!
